TRAVIS SCOTT PROVIDING $1 MILLION IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HBCU STUDENTS IN NEED

The Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund is granting 100 x $10,000 scholarships.

Travis Scott is providing $1 million in scholarships for college seniors at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), who may be experiencing last-minute financial adversity.



100 Students Experiencing Financial Hardship During Their Senior Year Can Apply for an Immediate Scholarship of $10,000 at cactusjack.foundation

Eligibility
• HBCU seniors
• 3.5 GPA (or higher)
• Experiencing financial hardship
• Applicants must be planning to graduate Spring 2022.

To Apply

  1. Please submit a two minute video, or a 500 word personal essay and photo
  2. Include proof of GPA
  3. Explain why student would be a good candidate for this scholarship opportunity, perhaps by discussing the impact financial hardships have had on their education goals and share their future career plans after graduation.

Travis Scott, issued the following statement: “I want students to know they can accomplish anything they set their mind to and that in a moment of financial uncertainty, we are here to help. I hope these scholarships will free them up to be as innovative and creative as they can be as they conclude one chapter of their lives and begin another. Money should not be a barrier for students to dream big.”
