What you will do…
We are looking for an inclusive and enthusiastic leader to join our team! As Director of Talent Acquisition, you will manage the strategic and tactical talent acquisition program for the Office of University Development with an eye towards efficiency and effectiveness. As a member of our Talent Management Leadership Team, you will lead a team of three and help support a positive, equitable, and inclusive culture for our organization. Provide full-cycle recruiting to 5-7 concurrent searches and ad hoc support to hiring teams across the community, as needed
Be an expert in talent acquisition and participate on the Talent Management Leadership Team
Utilize equitable hiring strategies and practices while providing counsel to hiring teams
Ensure bias mitigation strategies are woven through each step from job posting creation to offer; conduct bias checking at each stage and within team discussions/actions
Champion the candidate experience at each step in the process and develop candidate pipelines
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement employer branding activities
Use your continuous improvement mindset to improve the effectiveness of the hiring process based on stakeholder input
Use your organizational skills, initiative and creativity to manage multiple recruitment related projects at once
Practice inclusive approaches while leading a team of three talent acquisition professionals and manage the associated budget
Identify the most important recruiting goals and measure success using a data-informed approach
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience working in a formal talent acquisition role providing full-cycle recruiting for a variety of position types and levels
Expert level proficiency and knowledge of inclusive recruiting practices
Applied experience using recruiting technologies and data to inform strategies and practices
Leadership experience. Informal/indirect leadership experience will be considered
Interest in creatively solving short and long term challenges
Passion for inclusive leadership approaches and working with diverse teams across a large organization
