The Marketing & Communications Associate supports and promotes the Conservancy’s mission by implementing outreach strategies through digital and print that include website, park signage, social media, newsletter, events, sponsorships, and more.
In this role, the associate will work closely across all departments in the management and production of these outputs, and will report directly to the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated project management experience, outstanding interpersonal skills, superb knowledge of print and online content production, and a strong understanding of user experience and content strategy principles.
-Collaborate, consult, and produce all graphic design needs
-Provide design quality control and ensure consistency of the Conservancy brand across print and digital materials
-Lead, design, and execute weekly newsletter, plus any recurring and dedicated emails
-Coordinate and manage social media channels and campaigns
-Perform usability testing and user experience analysis to better promote the brand for continual improvement, online and offline
-Track analytics across campaigns and channels
-Monitor social media activity and engagement
-Execute strategies to increase audience engagement and conversions
-Facilitating content across all channels, including social media, website, etc. using various channels such as Hootsuite, WordPress, MailChimp, and Survey Monkey
-Support Conservancy’s events and programs
-Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships
-Additional responsibilities and projects as directed

-40 Hours a Week, Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, optional. Partial work from home is an option.

Substantial experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
1 - 2 years of experience working in a graphic design capacity
A dynamic, enthusiastic individual who can take both initiative and direction
-Skillful in content development across all social platforms
-A willingness to learn current trends and best practices in social media that will expand the park’s presence
-Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
-A team player who enjoys collaboration
