Our ICS team is looking for an experienced information security leader to join our Enterprise Data Loss Prevention (EDLP) team as the manager of the Data Loss Prevention Operation.  The manager will be responsible for leading a team of roughly 22+ in identifying, triaging and managing potential data loss events and data protection initiatives through appropriate resolution path.  This would also include participating in the design and testing of methodologies, techniques and tools to ensure Wells Fargo remains ahead-of-the-curve in proactive actions against inadvertent/unintentional or intentional data loss.   General duties include managing daily operations, operationalize new capabilities, partnering security control stakeholders to reduce risk of data loss, continuous tuning/optimizing the operation to improve effectiveness and achieve efficiency, responding to audit and regulatory obligations. The position involves regular interactions with executive leadership and business-aligned security leaders, LOB partners and stakeholders across the three lines of defense.
The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded application of cyber security risk management principles, data loss prevention operations, regulatory requirements (GDPR, GLBA, CCPA, etc.) security controls framework (NIST) , strong program management skills, strong communication skills,  methodologies and tools, and how to operationalize data loss prevention program to enhance cyber defense tools, techniques, and processes.

Key Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Daily operational management for initiatives and monitoring and triaging of potential data loss events
  • Oversee the health of EDLP with defined metrics 
  • Deep understanding and experience in improving Wells Fargo Cyber Security Risk posture and reduce data loss surface  
  • Develop partnerships with Wells Fargo’s existing security teams across the lines of business. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on actual or perceived events as well as identifying emerging trends and roadmaps for EDLP operations

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of experience with strategic planning in a technology environment
  • 2+ years of experience with leadership in an enterprise technology environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with data loss prevention
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience including working with Information Security teams or projects
  • 4+ years of program management experience
  • 3+ years of team leadership or management experience
  • 4+ years of experience working with information security controls and deployments in a production environment
  • 2+ years of experience presenting information to senior leaders

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
