The Senior Analyst I - Contracts role is an integral part of the Sales Operations team and is responsible for supporting our sales team for all types of transactions related but not limited to: Advanced Staining, Core Histology, and Pathology Imaging at Leica Biosystems. This role is based in our Deer Park, IL office. In this role, the Senior Analyst I - Contracts will be expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, customer service, service and product management , IT, sales, marketing) and balance internal/external business operation demands.

The contracts department is responsible for but not limited to the creation of agreements, reviewing proposed modifications to contracts, quotes, and terms and conditions, including coordinating internal flow of information to assemble contract language and financial inputs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Major Responsibilities:

Creation of supply, capital, acquisition and rental agreements and amendments

Understand the mechanics and financial modelling for agreements

Ability to draft and modify contract language with little to no supervision

Review and modify master terms and non-standard contracts

Review, and modify business and service terms and conditions for any type of document

Structure deals onto non-standard paperwork

Primary analyst for high complexity requests

Facilitate conference calls with external sources related to contract reviews

Train new employees on department processes and low/high complexity requests

Other projects and duties as assigned

Skills:

Excellent time management and organization skills are a must

Must possess excellent customer relations/service skills

Self-motivated and independent critical thinking

Goal oriented and results driven

Good interpersonal and communication skills are key

Work independently but able to interact as part of a team member

High degree of proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP) and Adobe Acrobat

High proficiency with business terms and conditions review

High proficiency in contract creation, review, and modification

Solves complex problems, leveraging PSP methodology, with some coaching; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on limited set of data

Required:

BA or BS Degree with 3+ years of related experience OR equivalent work experience a minimum 5 years
