Continually review and implement feedback from guests and field staff to improve future departures
Ensure partners are compliant in terms of risk management, contracts, insurance and other details
Assist in the planning and execution of field staff training retreats locally and around the world
Be on site as needed at various East Africa destinations where we operate

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $72,500 - $87,500, plus annual bonus. Compensation commensurate with experience.

This position comes with generous PTO and paid holidays. Benefits include Site Inspection on Nat Hab trips, pro deals on outdoor clothing and an onsite fitness facility. Eligibility for medical insurance, participation in 401(k) with company match and parental leave after a predetermined period of time.
This is a full-time, exempt position.

TRAVEL
In addition to having two weeks of Site Inspection time on Nat Hab trips when one is a participant on a scheduled program, the Adventure Director should be based in the desired region or expect to travel many additional weeks per year to set up programs, build field knowledge, improve trip itineraries, potentially develop new programs, and build rapport with partners around the world. It is preferred that this will be a Colorado-based position, however, should we determine to hire a remote candidate they would generally be expected to attend three to four (or more) annual multi-day-long retreats, meetings and/or company gatherings in Boulder, Colorado. Staff may also be required to come to the office multiple times throughout the year to prepare for upcoming seasons.
