Communications Co-Op (January - June 2024)
At ServiceNow, we’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their career, all while making a giant impact. We offer 6-month co-op opportunities across various communications functions. You will work on real, meaningful projects that impact the business and our customers. In addition to receiving relevant on-the-job experience, you will have numerous opportunities to participate in learning workshops and engaging sessions – all designed to enhance your professional development and help expand your communities.
We have two different co-op opportunities available. Please see details about each role below:
Employee Communications Co-Op
Develop communications plans and write across a variety of projects, including crisis and issues management, new world of work, and other global programs.
Support our business and culture communications, including our ongoing focus on top company initiatives like our purpose, priorities, and values, all connected to our People Pact. Lead an employee activation aligned to one of these.
Support companywide communications channel ecosystem strategy and best practices. Help with digital employee experience content management.
Gain experience in companywide employee event experiences (for example, our global town hall called Service Now Live: SNL) by leading an opening video concept.
Support our Talent Brand Employee Activation campaign. Assist in Life at Now Instagram ideation and brainstorm ideas tying to internal activations.
Support and implement creative storytelling for the Global People Team, in support of our People Pact.
Actively engage in community management and sentiment monitoring across our internal communications channels to make sure our employees have a safe space to communicate respectfully and feel like they belong. This includes proactive and reactive moderation of internal channels to ensure we always comply with company policies, in partnership with key stakeholders (such as Legal, DEI, and more). Provide support in creating sentiment reports around specific moments. Review groups to ensure they comply with our Brand guidelines.
Industry Analyst & Influencer Relations Co-Op
Build a strategy and execute programs to help the Industry Analyst Relations team use crowdsourcing sites like Gartner Peer Insights and G2 to build strong customer reviews of ServiceNow.
Lead aspects of event planning and content creation for ServiceNow’s highly acclaimed Industry Analyst Summit.
Understand and analyze analyst research and reviews of ServiceNow.
Work across teams to support announcements, new products coming to market, like our Tokyo release, and manage analyst communication.
Be a strong, equal member of a top performing analyst relations team and part of all day-to-day activities
Opportunities for cross Communications and Marketing opportunities depending on your interests and capabilities.
Qualifications
This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
Currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, Psychology, English, or a similar field
Graduating December 2024 or later
Able to commit to full-time co-op experience (40 hours per week) from Jan 8, 2024 – June 14, 2024
A quick, yet thoughtful decision maker who knows when to ask questions, when to act, when to escalate, and when to ask for help
Highly collaborative, team-oriented, detailed, and organized with ability to manage time and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and presentation skills
Passion for storytelling and identifying trends
High proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self-starter with initiative, attention to detail, strong organizational skills

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $32.70/hr, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
