Marketing Co-Op (January - June 2024) Co-Op Program Overview At ServiceNow, we’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a big step early in their career, all while making a giant impact. We offer 6-month co-op opportunities across various marketing functions (keep reading!). You will work on real, meaningful projects that impact the business and our customers. What is Brand Marketing? Builds, protects, and scales our brand recognition in powerful, emotional narratives and protects our reputation to continuously grow our base of loyal customers.
What you will do: manage cross-channel media campaigns, organic social media, talent brand content development
Specific skills are an advantage for certain roles (not all):
Graphic design experience with knowledge and skills in using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
What is Product & Solutions Marketing? Defines and curates buyer personas, customer centric solutions/product messaging, positioning and buyer enablement that drive awareness and differentiation in the marketplace and support sales.
What you will do: develop marketing strategy and connectedness through messaging and positioning, product and solution launches, sales, and field enablement.

What is Enterprise & Field Marketing? Partners closely with sales to deliver and activate integrated campaigns that build and accelerate pipeline in-region through meaningful customer & prospect engagement.
What you will do: deliver in-person and virtual events, create account-based marketing plans, plan and execute campaigns, coordinate campaign follow-up, and report on lead-flow and performance
Specific skills are an advantage for certain roles (not all): Digital marketing systems (i.e., marketing automation platforms, CRM platforms, webinar, social media tools, SharePoint, wiki sites). SaaS event tools (RainFocus, Cvent)
What is Strategic Events? Strategic Events is part of ServiceNow's Marketing team and is responsible for the strategy and operation of our largest and most important events. Our events scale from 1,000 to 20,000+ attendees
What you will do: Work closely and support one of the many teams that make up Strategic Events; event operations, marketing and communications, sponsorship sales, content, finance, keynote and executive programs, and event technology to hit all KPIs.
Specific skills are an advantage for certain roles: Quick learner and effective communicator in a fast-paced matrix environment. Ability to network and build relationship throughout marketing. Planning and project management. Familiarity with Office 365 suite. Great oral and written communication skills and curiosity and desire to learn from the best Strategic Events team in our industry
What is Digital Marketing? Delivers compelling, always on digital experiences that increase engagement and conversion with optimal content, media and personalization powered by effective technology, data excellence, and innovation throughout all our digital properties.
What you will do: Monitor and evaluate results and performance across the major digital channels and markets. Use various Adobe & web analytic tools to acquire new customers, support the compilation of data and develop recommendations.
Specific skills are an advantage for certain roles (not all):
Working with quantitative and qualitative data. Analytical Tools (MySQL, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SA360, Google Ads)
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar Web Content Management System
Java development & testing, HTML/CSS, Search Engine Results Page (SERP) layouts for variety of devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
Working with marketing automation platform such as Marketo and campaign management
Software development and test automation experience
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall techniques
What is Strategy, Planning & Operations Marketing? Drives operational excellence, fosters a culture of collaboration, and builds alignment within and between orgs to enable Marketing’s success.
What you will do: Support cross-functional projects and programs plans. Develop, maintain, and improve key processes and tools across Marketing, spanning across people, culture, planning and much more!
Specific skills are an advantage for certain roles (not all): Project management, change management, and portfolio tracking, communications, planning, budget and forecasting, stakeholder and meeting management, and data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications

Currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic
Design, Psychology, English, or a similar field
Graduating December 2024, or later
Able to commit to full-time co-op between dates: January 8, 2024 - June 14, 2024
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Able to build good cross functional relationships with a variety of teams
Can-do, scrappy, creative spirit, with a desire to own projects from start to finish, attention to detail, strong organizational skills
Quick, yet thoughtful and decision-making skills; knows when to ask questions, when to act, when to escalate, and when to ask for help
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Works well under pressure in a high growth, fast-paced & ambiguous, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $33.51/hr, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
